Parma, September 13, 2015- Today, Parma Calcio 1913 made their home debut in Serie D at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, one week after their victorious debut on the road at Arzignano, this time defeating Villafranca 2-1 (see table in margins). After two matches, the Crociata have found themselves with full points atop the table of group D.
Finding themselves behind immediately, following a 5’ penalty kick from Edoardo Cecco, manager Luigi Apolloni’s boys responded calmly and found the equalizer just before the break (38’) with Fabio Lauria, who scored in the box off an assist from Christian Longobardi just after goalkeeper Andrea Cantamessa parried a penalty.
It was fitting then, that Longobardi struck again off a quick attack in front of goal, reaching a cross from the left by Giacomo Ricci, sealing the match and guaranteeing three points for the hosts.
