Parma – Legnago

Parma - Legnago Salus
11 Nov 2015 - 14:30Stadio Ennio Tardini, Parma

Parma, November 11 2015- This afternoon, Parma Calcio 1913 returned to victory at the Stadio Tardini. After Sunday’s draw in Carpi with Virtus Castelfranco, the sqaud won 3-1 in the 13th match of the campaign of Serie D, group D, over Legnago Salus (see table in the margins).

The three points kept the Crociata unbeaten and continued their run at the top of the table with a total of 33 points.

Luigi Apolloni’s boys had contest in hand from start to finish, and found the advantage at 45’ moments before the break, thanks to a masterful free kick from Francesco “Ciccio” Corapi.

That outstanding goal off the set piece from the midfielder completely broke down and dissolved the defensive organization of the visitors. Parma capitalized on that advantage for the second time at 71’, when Daniele “Mico” Melandri doubled the lead, collecting his own rebound after his first shot had struck off the right post.

At 83’, Ricardo Musetti, who had just come on in place of Corapi, played the hero, scoring the third goal for Parma Calcio 1913, delivering the knockout punch.

Legnago immediately closed the gap to two, with Antonio Broso tapping in a cross from Fernando Giarrizzo.
